What is a Health Share?
It's a community where members agree to share one another's medical expenses through voluntary giving, following our Member Guidelines. ShareWELL exists to give members a way to help each other with healthcare costs. It is not insurance.
What is the Unshared Amount?
The Unshared Amount (UA) is what a member pays per Sharing Request before the ShareWELL community shares in eligible medical expenses. Choose $1,500, $2,500, or $5,000 — the lower your UA, the higher your monthly contribution.
How does sharing work?
Three simple steps:
1) Submit a Sharing Request for your medical event.
2) At your appointment, present as a self-pay patient (ShareWELL is not insurance).
3) Eligible expenses are shared among community members, and we help coordinate payment to your provider.
Are there religious requirements?
No. ShareWELL welcomes members of all walks of life, regardless of religious affiliation.
